The room was dimly lit up by a 60watts bulb.
Apparently, the voltage is poor. No windows, just a
door and a fan turning slowly and making a creaky
sound. The room is spacious and empty apart from a
chair and a table with a bag on it and they are a few
meters far from the door. At the far end opposite the
table is where a young woman about 31yrs old was
tied. She's fair skinned and even with the weary look
she wears on her sleepy face, she's extremely
beautiful. She's 5'7 wearing a well woven hair.
She woke up with a start. She tried to digest her
situation. She's been tied to something she just can't
fathom what. Head down, hands tied behind her back
and legs tied with a metal, though she couldn't see
it, she could feel the coldness of the steel. She tried
to recall last night happenings, but it was a blur.
Her situation is now obvious, she had been napped! By
whom and for what reason, she'd have to wait to find
out but she dares not try to wait. She must find a
way out. She pulled at the chains but nothing
happened. She wanted to scream but kicked against
it after a second thought. She kept pulling till she
became weak, she gave in to tears.
"Oh God save me" she cried silently
Just then the door opened slowly and from his
appearance he could easily be named a doctor. A
gold rimmed spectacle hung from his bulgy eyes, he
wore a pair of hand gloves on each hand and a white
lab coat with white shoes to match. He's 5'2 and
chocolate skinned. He carries no beard and he's bald.
"Glad you're awake Angela, I'm afraid i have to
commence work now"
"What do you mean by commence work?" She asked
tearfully "who are you and what am i doing here?"
The doctor said nothing but walked close to her and
removed his spectacles thereby revealing a pair of
wide gray eyes. He kept staring at Angela who kept
crying and trying to make a bargain.
"You want money? Just name your price, anything
you want you'll get it please just let me go" she
continued
The Doctor smiled but kept staring at her with his
eyes and they show no form of pity in them. So cold
was the stare that Angela was forced to keep shut.
The doctor punched her and she passed out

3 Days Earlier
"Pastor, he just won't stop, I've done everything you
asked me to. Everyday he comes home with a new
girl" Angela explained into the phone.
"Yes, his dad is coming too. Alright Sir. I'll be
expecting you"
She sighed and turned as she heard the door bell
ring. Her father in law has probably arrived. Apart
from the facial resemblance they both bore the man
is the opposite of his son in terms of characters. Why
his son is an heavy drunk, he's reserved and barely
sips a full glass even when at occasions.
He's sturdily
built with handsome features which would have
faded had he not been a rich man. He carries a cute
smile and its hard to tell if he's angry or not.
Angela opened the door after the second ring, and lo!
She came face to face with her husband and another
girlfriend.
"No John, I've had enough!" She said And she the
door.
"Dam you darn know what will happen when i get in
so save yourself some beating barren ho!" John
replied
"Go away dog! And take that filthy thing with you!"
"You dare call my girlfriend thing!?" John yelled back
angrily and dashed for the door and broke it open.
Angela ran into her room but it was too late, John was
there before she could even think of closing the door.
He pushed her on the bed and made to punch her.
She pushed him backward and dashed out of the
house only to run into the safe hands of her ever
smiling father in-law.
"John" he called calmly, " is this how you treat your
wife? And who is this thing with pancake and lipstick
dabbed over her face like a masquerade? Sorry sister
but please this is another woman's home and you are
not welcomed, kindly walk away and never come
back"
John's girlfriend started walking away but not after
getting the nod from John who was taken aback by
his Dad's sudden appearance. What had brought the
old fool here? He wondered. If Angela has something
to do with this she's going to pay.
Mr Samuel walked inside still holding Angela and sat
down. "John come and sit and start talking" he said.
If he was angry, then he really didn't show it.
He, Mr Samuel, had tried to instill discipline in his
son but to no avail. His son increasing love for prost!
tutes is flabbergasting and totally unacceptable for
anyone who must bare his name and inherit his
companies.
John kept standing and remained quiet. His mind
was racing fast and his options are few.
He has to
ignore this mans question without incurring his
wrath. He was jolted back from his reverie by the
ringing bell.
"Who's there!?" He bellowed
Angela got up, only because she knew it was her
pastor. Oh God, let everything be settled today, she
prayed inwardly.
"Hey, good afternoon Sir. You are right on time" she
said smiling.
"May the peace of the Lord be in this house" the man
of God said as he walked in. He shook hands with Mr
Samuel but John refused his handshake. The pastor,
dressed in a gray suit and tie, is in his mid forties.
Fair skinned with tribal marks.
He was offered a sit opposite Mr Samuel.
He cleared his throat and began "judging from the
look of things, it seems we already know our mission
here.
John, your wife here, has been complaining that……"
"You are a jobless fool! Why can't you just mind your
church or is she your wife?" John interrupted rudely.
Turning to his father he said "look dad, I'm no longer
a baby, its high time you too start minding your
business" with that said he walked out slamming the
door as he went.
Mr Samuel didn't look surprised, he just got up and
started heading for the door. "Angela, see me
tomorrow please" and he left just as quietly as he
came.
Angela bursts into tears and the Pastor tried to
console her and he let her weep on his shoulder. "It
will be alright" he kept saying.
Then John walked in just in time to see his wife
weeping on the Pastor's shoulders
